Health and Safety Policy Statement

Workforce Facilities Ltd provides high quality facilities management (including engineering, security, cleaning and energy) services to our clients within the UK.

We recognise that the health, safety and the well-being of our employees, customers, contractors and visitors is critical to our continued success. We also recognise that maintaining a high standard of health and safety generally not only provides legal and financial assurance but that it is ethically the right thing to do.

 

Workforce Facilities comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act (1974) and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (1999), Workforce Facilities operates and use a systematic approach to the identification of hazards and the management of risk within its operations. We carefully review our management systems, to ensure statutory compliance is maintained as a minimum standard and our continual improvement programme, aligned to specific health and safety objectives, will keep the company at the forefront of health and safety management. We will identify and manage hazards through suitable risk management and will maintain a proactive approach to health and safety with adequate resources provided. We maintain responsibility throughout our management for our health and safety management system, by ensuring we have competent people to undertake their duties. A competent team, ensures that our management system is always reviewed for effectiveness, updated for improvement and audited for compliance at both site and corporate level.

Workforce Facilities Ltd is committed to ongoing monitoring and review processes, so that continual improvement in the management of Health and Safety can be achieved. Our General intentions are:

  • To provide control of Heath and Safety risks arising from our work.

  • To consult with our employees on matters that are affecting their Health & Safety.

  • To provide safe handling and use of substances.

  • To provide instruction and supervision for our employees.

  • To ensure our employees received adequate training to carry out their tasks and competent.

  • To prevent accidents at work and issues related to health.

  • To ensure risk free environment, safe and healthy working conditions.

  • To review our Health & safety Policy at regular intervals.

 

Workforce Facilities Management team recognises that accidents, incidents and health are undesirable effects of management failure, and we shall make every attempt, through our risk management system (RMS), to eliminate all occurrences from our operations. Where incidents and accidents significant near misses do occur, we will always investigate and report these events to reduce future risk to our people.

 

The senior executive responsible for health and safety will review this policy as part of the management review process and provide a written report on health and safety performance to the board of directors.

 

Changes made to this Policy will be communicated to all employees at all times and this policy will also be available on our website.
